You make it flat then in a few minutes or when you toss it then it turns into a ball. Crazy Jared got this for Christmas.

Storm Damage

Today at about 12:45 Jody's mom called and ask if we were ok. Didn't know what was going on but we had been cleaning in the basement one because the basement was dirty two because we are going to have a rock band party on New Years eve. Anyway back to my story. My mother in law said there implement shed had just been destroyed by either wind or a tornado. After things calmed down a bit we went down to see if. And it was totally blown to pieces next to the fence by the pond. So glad it didn't get them in there house.

Icy roads

Woke up this morning and the roads were super slick. Saw cars sitting up the road went out to look and see what was going on there was a big truck off in the ditch.

Local Senior center burns

Jamie and I had went and got feed today as we were leaving we saw a police car with it lights on. Look around to see what was going on and the local senior center was on fire and the fire trucks had not even got there. Had never really set and watched them work there magic. They lost the building but they did a good job of keeping off any other buildings and as far as I know none of them got hurt. So sorry the seniors lost there building. Alot of them went there for lunch everyday. And guess what Henny I wasn't prepared my camera was at home but had my cell phone not as good but not totally out.

Frosty

Jody took these picture's today. I guess we don't have to dream of a white Christmas...

Sick kids

There not really sick we went to Lad's birthday party the other night and had cake and it turned the kids tongue's green. Jamie was so electric that she could make balloons stick to the side of her head. My mom and dad are getting ready to have a 50th anniversary I took some picture's to put in the paper.

Sunday

We have had several things going on the last few days. Yesterday Jody and his dad dug a big ditch to put in a cattle water tank. Then last night we had a parade to do. Jamie marched and boy was it cold outside watching the parade

Snow Day

We had a little snow today. Jared went out on the porch and made a snow Angel. Granny Fern carving the turkey on Thanksgiving Day. A boy and his dog going across the yard.

Just pics

The first picture is a view from the back of a house I clean at and what a view it is. I think you can see forever I love to stand and do dishes and just look across this opening. The other picture is of Jamie's car what a lucky little girl she is. What I would have give to have a car like this when I was that age. It even has a sun roof. It's also a beautiful purple.

space station

If you look close enough you can see a little dot in the middle of the picture. I tried to get a picture of the space station on Friday night this is all I got. If you didn't get to see that it was awesome.

Saturday

We went to the lake today to pick up some wood we cut over the summer. Think we may need some.It's cold outside. So nice to see the lake almost back to normal. So tired of having to drive so far to unload the boat to play on the water.

Tried to put this picture on yesterday and it wouldn't go but its going today. This is at my favorite place in the world the lake is it summer yet.............

Birthday

Today was my birthday My friend Laura baked me a cake. Really good. Thank you Laura. Cold and had snow flurries today. My mom and dad said the day was just like the day I was born cold and snowy and the first day of deer season.

Pageant is over

Well we got it over with and we didn't win but Jamie did a great job she was still the prettiest one there.

Big Day

Tonight is the pageant Going after school to get a fancy hairdo. She is so excited I just hope the judges can see her true beauty. I will just be glad to have it over with.

A week in the life

We went to a banquet for the mighty might football games. There was over 500 people showed up. Took forever to get food but got to visit alot. Then one day I was driving through McDonalds and I look to my left and out came these 4 amish people they looked so cute so I am grabbing for my camera and I had the card in the card reader so I am trying to get my card out and in my camera but I did catch them before they got in that van I need to be more prepared. Then Fonda came down and I took a picture of Henny updating her blog. Then we went out to breakfast with Fonda and her dad . So happy to get to spend time with her.

Shopping Day

Today we went to springfield shopping for Jamie a dress for the pageant. We found the perfect outfits. Her dress looks so good on her and both Grandma's and Grandpa's bought her other two outfits she had to have. Thanks Grandma's. We had a fun day but alot of running and trying on clothes Now to get everything else ready for the big day on Nov. 14.

25th

Friday Night Ball game again great score but one bad broken arm. Poor kid he's out for the season. Sat. Morning went to cut wood at the airport. Then had to leave for Mtn. View mighty might game was suppose to be at 5:00 but guess what the games were running 4 hours late so got to spend alot of time in Mtn. View and there is not alot in that little town.

busy Day

We have been on the run. Here is some of our week. Jared had a ballgame today they won 7-6 against Willow Springs. Last night we went to the High School Homecoming game and we won. Jody came out while Henny was taking some picture's of Jamie for the Holiday contest coming up. Henny, Jamie and I all have long long skinny legs. The other day I took Jared to school and saw all these birds on the antenna wires at the bus barn. The last picture is of Jamie, Henny took it. Thanks for helping us out with that Henny.
