This is the latest picture's. They were taken on yesterday the 29th. The walls are all up and the bathroom wall in the upstairs is finished. They are putting the rafter on today one step closer to having it in the dry.

The house is starting to take shape going back up. It is looking like it did before we started this project. The room in the bottom is 10x10 and will have a bathroom and all the utilities for the house hot water heater washer dryer furnice and anything else we might need. I went down monday and they finished all the upstairs walls today they did the center bathroom. We are going back tomorrow so I will have even more pictures.

The new house is starting to go up. The floor joist are in place and the decking is going down. We will see what happens this next week. Can't wait to see this project move forward FAST.

Let the building begin

The concrete is started at the lake. The poles are 9 foot in the air that will be the floor at the top of the pole. Builder should be there Wednesday. So glad for this next step. Went done to the water and the wind was blowing hard and the water was white capping not a day to be on the water just ask the branson belle. The kids and I went and cut down a Christmas tree this evening. I don't know who is more stubborn Jamie or Jody but we have a tree up not decorated but it is up anyway. First real christmas tree in 8 years.

Jamie did the pageant and she had a good time I thought she did a really good job. We started another destruction job this weekend John gave us some hanger on top of the house and we are starting to tear it down. What are we thinking. Came home to get some tool and saw this x in the sky maybe they were play tic tack toe.

This is where the house was now you can't even tell where it used to be. It took 7 weeks of after work and weekend and now for the next step. Wish us luck.

This is where the house used to be there are some picture's of the house standing there and now we have to pick up some more lumber and then we are done with the destruction and then we start putting it back up.

The walls are all down soon very soon we will have this torn down. The beautiful staircase is still standing not sure how long. Hope we can save it but not sure at this point.

5 walls down 7 more to go We will soon be done with the tear down of this project. Will be very glad to have it down and ready to start going back up.

Jared was suppose to be helping and this is what he found to do. A little foam and some nails and you have a airplane. He did end up helping me a bunch. A boy has got to have a little fun to make working not so bad.

Well it's still coming down. We finally have all the floor off now we just need to take down the lower walls and deck. We are starting to wear down now.

My mom made us supper last night homemade chicken pot pie and a big ole salad. Thanks mom. We hauled a load of wood to Jody's mom and dad today I was following him to there house. Then more pictures of the house. the staircase is the only thing still on the first floor and I hate to see it go. It is so pretty and for the time being we are not going to use it but we are going to keep it and hopefully find a way to use it someday.
