Christmas Parade 09

Had a good Christmas Parade. Was wondering my whole life how many big trucks you can have in one Christmas parade about 6 I think. The band sounded real good but they always do. Who knew Santa could ride 2 horses at once. Iam inpressed. Jamie looked very cute in those wonderful band uniforms that they love so much.

Jody's brother Jay

Jody's brother Jay was in this wreck in the early morning hours. He is going to be okay was on a vent but they removed it this evening he is in alot of pain so is on medicine for that. The man driving was not so luck he did not make it. So sorry for his family no time is a good time to lose a family member but right here at holiday time. So we spent Thankgiving at Jody's sister Shelly's house and then went to the hospital for the 4:30 time for family. He did respond to jody and Jamie when they talked to him. Please keep him in your prays for a speedy recovery. Be thankful for every day we never know when it will be our last.

Floor painting @ our house

Anyone who reads our blog knows that our basement flooded in August what a mess. Well we decided we would not go back to carpet after having to tear that all out. They have a concrete paint that workings really good so we went with that. I have before and after picture's it looks so good. Glad to have that job finished.

Jason Aldean Concert

This was the best concert in the world. He really is a great showman. Glad Jamie nagged me until I ordered the tickets.

Frost on the Pumpkin

Got up this morning and looked outside and if we would have had a pumpkin outside there would have been frost on it. Last weekend the Darter's were coming through and we went and had breakfast and there we found upside down Lad with help. Then I found our shadow's. Then on Thursday our new Baby Trey came home he is just perfect. Jamie and I are going to have a girls night on soon and we are going to see Jason Aldean( Take me for a ride on your big green tractor)Got the big truck stuck last Sunday tried to get the big truck out still really stuck. Found a all black wolly worm wonder what that means. If they can really tell. Last Sunday went to the pumpkin patch with the church and Jared was jumping hay bales with a group of kids oh what fun...

Going's on

Went to the lake last weekend Set out some lines when we went to check it the next morning It was so foggy at the camper went to the 'water was so clear. Then we saw this wall of fog was so cool had to drive through it you couldn't hardly see anything but we did see a squirel swimming in the lake he was brave the water was really cold. The other picture is of Jamie marching in the homecoming parade can you see the look I am getting they are suppose to be focused and not interact with the crowd.

September

Well we tried to be Miss Texas County Teen winner but we didn't make it. I don't know what those judges are looking for but this girl has got it all. She is pretty, can play a flute and look good doing it. I wish I could give them my vote and we would know who the winner would be. Probably all the other girls mother's think the same thing.
